What Does Housing Have To Do With Your Child's Health?
Housing and Health are inseparable issues, especially for children. Legal Aid's April Merrill, Medical/Legal Partnership Statewide Coordinator knows this all too well.
A report released January 2017 by the Community Advocacy Clinic at The University of Tulsa College of Law says it's time to end unhealthy housing in Tulsa, Oklahoma. The report's research shows 52% of renters in Tulsa live in substandard housing.

One of several interesting conclusions of this study reveals that a state law ties the hands of code enforcement went it comes to rental property in Oklahoma.
